We know that air ducts are used for ventilation, air conditioning and heating. At FMB Trading And Engineering Pte Ltd, we use different material for our production, mainly because of our clients’ versatile choice. But generally we encourage our clients to choose Stainless steel or Aluminium Alloy for these kind of projects.

We have very efficient Hydraulic press brake to bend steel and a Plate rolls machine for circular ducts.

Till now, we have completed more than a dozen air duct project for different facilities like hospital, factory, workshop, etc. and we let our clients the control over full customization, starting with the thickness of steel, welding method up to the angles and finishing.

Application:

Air ducts has different uses depending on the facility it is being used. Here are some of the most common ones.

For ventilation: In factories, there are usually hundreds of working at a time. For them the regularity in air circulation is a must. That’s why factories and workshops use air ducts to maintain air circulation through the day.

For Heating purpose: Some manufacturing process may require heating between the process. For them air duct acts as a heat provider. On one side, heat source is kept and through the ducts, the warn air passes.

Air conditioning: In offices and factories, air ducts are used to keep moisture, temperature, and humidity at a suitable level so that no one feels uncomfortable inside the facility.

For passing gas: In factories where gas is a unwanted byproduct, these ducts are used to make a passage for the gas to go out or to be store in a container or vessel.

For smoke: In kitchen and other places where smoke is a regular thing, air ducts are used similarly to the gas extraction process.

For liquid: Although air ducts are meant to make a way for gas and air to pass, sometimes they are used to make way for liquids to pass on. Mostly they are used when a large amount of water is needed in a plant.
